We're here to remind our elected officials and other government leaders that uniformed servicemembers were promised - and earned - their benefits: they are not negotiable.

Yet Congress continues to pander to special interests, spending your tax dollars on projects unrelated to our national interests or that should be a lower priority than honoring our commitments to those who serve, and have served, in uniform.

• Right now, DoD officials are getting
  ready to drastically raise TRICARE
  enrollment fees for under-65 retirees.
• While veterans' health care has
  improved, costs continue to skyrocket,
  and continued efforts are needed to
  ensure full funding of VA health care.
• Concurrent receipt inequities remain,
  unfairly hurting those who can least
  afford it - like those retirees rated as
  Individual Unemployable (IU) and
  military widows.
