| NAUS now accepts article submissions from readers
for consideration. Not all submissions can be published. Articles
are published on a space available basis, and while many submissions
will have merit, we can only publish articles that are relevant
to our members and that meet our editorial standards. We're
looking for articles covering a variety of topics of interest
to our members: military history, personal experience in the
uniformed services, political/world affairs, interviews with
uniformed services leaders (senior officers/enlisted/civilian),
and even humor.
Articles should be around 1,200 to 1,500 words, and submission
of photographs or other accompanying illustrations is encouraged.
Articles and any photographs or illustrations should be submitted
to Mrs. Marcy Genest, Managing Editor, for consideration. Submission
of materials in electronic format is preferred (e.g., Word)
but hard copy is also acceptable. Include a self-addressed,
stamped (or postage paid) envelope if you want your materials
returned to you.
