Active Duty and Current
Guard/Reserve Members Join NAUS

  • NAUS knows what it's like to serve and sacrifice. Serving in uniform sometimes restricts your ability to voice your concerns frankly to the chain of command and even your elected officials. But you are allowed
    to join organizations like NAUS.
  • Let NAUS voice the concerns you
    sometimes can't.
  • Get the straight scoop. You don't always
get all the information you need, and
you often assume the government will
take care of you. Let NAUS be your
    watchdog.

If you don't join and help NAUS keep up the fight, you may find your benefits won't be there when you need them. Learn more about Guard/Reserve Issues.

Veterans Join NAUS

Whether you were drafted during Vietnam or the Cold War, enlisted right out of high school for a tour in the 80's, served in Desert Storm, or just got out after serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, NAUS is for you.

  • Information and help in accessing
    veterans benefits due you.
  • Unlike some other organizations,
our main priority is not socializing —
we focus on getting our government
to keep its promises to you and
    other veterans.

Spouses Join NAUS

When you join NAUS, your spouse may join as well at a special joint membership rate. This is not a "ladies auxiliary" type of membership. Joint NAUS members are full voting members of the Association. NAUS fights hard on behalf of uniformed services spouses and other family members too - and this full joint membership lends us additional strength when representing your interests on Capitol Hill.

Retirees Join NAUS

Once you retire, it seems the information flow really slows down. NAUS keeps you up-to-date with the information you need and want.

  • Your retirement benefits are
under constant attack due to budget pressures. With only a small number of elected officials ever having served in
uniform these days, who will keep our government true to its promises if
    not you and me?
  • Already settled in your 2nd (or 3rd!)
career? You need to add your voice to
that of other retirees to make sure
your promised benefits remain intact —
even while you're still working. It will
make an even bigger difference when
    you really do "retire."
  • Fight for those who are still fighting
for us. The active duty uniformed
services are much smaller than when
    most retirees were serving.

Join NAUS today and help make sure those who follow in your footsteps get what they were promised too. Learn more about Retiree Issues

Lowest Dues Around

Annual membership dues are only $15!
No other military or veterans organization gives you so much for so little. NAUS is committed to our focus on representing your interests to our elected and appointed officials. We don't spend your dues on fancy annual conventions in resort destinations, expensive office space in downtown D.C., or a large staff to administer peripheral activities and programs. Our small, dedicated staff is focused on achieving our legislative agenda. We're lean and mean, and we mean business in protecting your hard-earned benefits.

Membership has Other Rewards, Too!

Of course, NAUS offers members some tangible benefits too. Members receive a subscription to our acclaimed magazine, Uniformed Services Journal. USJ has a reputation for being filled with helpful information — not ads. Members also have access to benefits like reduced-rate health insurance (TRICARE Supplements and other plans); life, auto and homeowners insurance; travel discounts; financial investment and college financing services; relocation and legal services; a special Visa Card program and more.
