THOMAS L. WILKERSON
President & CEO
General Wilkerson leads the Association dedicated to protecting the earned benefits of uniformed service members, retirees, veterans, and their families. For the previous two years Tom led the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation, supporting the living Recipients of the Medal of Honor. Prior to that, Tom was a Team Leader in The White House Office of Science & Technology Policy program ”Entrepreneurs in Residence.” That program focused on the FDA processes to approve cutting-edge medical procedures and devices with direct impact on Wounded Warriors. For eight years previous General Wilkerson served as the chief executive officer of the U. S. Naval Institute, one of the oldest professional associations in the United States. Prior to accepting the CEO post in 2003, Wilkerson was executive vice president of a subsidiary to a major publishing conglomerate focused on training first responders. Before that, he was CEO/president of a subsidiary to a Fortune 250 financial-services corporation. Tom Wilkerson’s military career spanned 31 years from graduation with the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1967 to service as a Marine Corps Fighter/Attack Aviator, and finally to senior leadership as a Major General of Marines. Along the way he was a U. S. Naval Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) graduate; exchange pilot with the Royal Air Force; commanding officer of Marine Corps Fighter Attack Squadron 251; and combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm. In his last active duty assignment – as Commander, Marine Forces Reserve – Wilkerson led the largest command in the Marine Corps, with more than 100,000 Marines at 200 sites around the United States. Tom is a member of The Society of the Cincinnati and the Council on Foreign Relations. He and his wife, the former Lynn Reid of San Diego, Calif., have two daughters, Jennifer Lynn and Catherine Aileen.
Windora is a CPA with more than 25 years of experience. Her experience includes not-for-profit organizations, government contracts, and financials for international telecommunications entities in 36 countries. Windora is known for her skills in establishing and managing systems, policies, and procedures within financial operations. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from George Mason University and her Certified Public Accountant in the state of Virginia. Her father was a U.S. Marine during Viet Nam and retired from the U.S. Army.
MR. RICK JONES
Rick served as a medical specialist during the Vietnam War era. Before joining NAUS, Rick held a similar position for AMVETS after serving more than 20 years as a legislative aide on the staffs of several Senators and members of the House of Representatives. His service on Capitol Hill included four years as professional staff on funding issues related to veterans affairs’ budget and appropriations.

Mike is our resident “spook,” having served in the Naval Security Group as a Russian linguist for 23 years. He has been in the D.C. area working as a lobbyist for veterans, military retired members and their families, and senior citizens since 1998.
Maggie started her career in the IT field, but soon realized that her passion was developing and growing relationships for the non-profit sector. She enjoys matching the passion and interests of donors to the mission and vision of an organization. As an experienced development professional, she has raised funds and awareness for missions of various national and international organizations. She received her Bachelor of Science Degrees in Computer Information Systems and International Business from High Point University and her Master of Business Administration from Western Carolina University.

WILLIAM (TOMMY) CAMPBELL
Tommy has been working as a graphic artist and in various marketing positions for more than 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Radford University in Virginia. His experience working with the military community comes from several years as Creative Director for the Army Times Publishing Company. He has also held design and marketing positions in the real estate/land developing, newspaper, and printing industries.
Toni Cimini has a strong background in Customer Service. Her experience includes working for a local family-run heating and air-conditioning company as well as a major financial corporation. Her duties have varied, but while with the financial corporation, after the Patriot Act was enacted, her job function was to compare the company database and new applications against the Government’s lists of known terrorists. This was in an effort to prevent the terrorists from financing their goal of destruction.
