Founded in 1968 to protect and enhance the earned benefits of uniformed servicemembers, retirees, veterans, and their families and survivors, while maintaining a strong defense, and to foster esprit de corps among uniformed services personnel and veterans of the United States, through nonpartisan advocacy on Capitol Hill and with other government officials, NAUS is the Servicemember's Voice in Government.

Nearly 200,000 members and supporters strong, NAUS focuses on affecting legislative issues that affect its members, and all those who serve - or have served - in uniform.
